Okay, I will answer myself with the findings from last week... :-) I bought new coordinator ZBDongle-P, re-flashed it and set the IEEE to duplicate the previous one... With this coordinator the Z2M starts and I am able to get into the UI of Z2M, but still I was not able to see devices online. Maybe I need to reset all my routers to reestablish everything from scratch??? |

Hello all,
I would like to know your opinion on the issue I am seeing in my network.
I am using the ZBDongle-P on a system for already 2+ years without hickups. I wanted to duplicate the setup so I obtained the second dongle (same type) and duplicated all the data of Z2M, Mosquitto and all around to the new computer. I also flashed the dongle to have the same address as old one. The trouble was, that I was not able to make the dongle run - the Z2M just sits on the message "Serial port opened". I tried many various firmware versions (old, new, even the non-launchpad version...), but no luck, except one moment when the Z2M miraculously started and I was able to control the devices. Happy about the situation, I rebooted the computer and exactly same sympthoms again. So I tried completely new clean configuration, trying to make "empty workspace". I also switched my old network to make sure there is no noise in the air... Also generated new keys, panIDs, ... But simply nothing. Debug log shows that it freezes on state 8 (no idea, what it means):

My feeling is, that the dongle is faulty... could it be or do you believe there is something else that I could do to make it all run? Z2M version is 1.41.00...
Also, another idea is, if the dongle is incompatible with the firmware? My current (working) dongle has FW 20210708. But I am not able to find this for download... I assume these dongles are the same, but I am not courageous enough to extract it from there.
Btw., with new computer old dongle works without issues too, so I guess the configuration there is okay...
Could the dongle be faulty?
Thank you a lot in advance...
