Describe the feature you'd like

I perused #3264 but couldn't find anything about the markdown syntax to use for linking multicommunities in an instance-agnostic way in markdown similar to the ! format for communities and the @ format for users currently. Is there something already implemented I am missing or a plan of the format to support?

If there are no plans currently, looking at prior art in this space, PieFed uses the ~ prefix for their feeds and reddit (if it is similar to how they do normal communities) uses the /m/ or m/ prefix.
