Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  1. You can search or just look at list of communities but it won't allow you to sort on communities info like numbers of :
  • posts,
  • comments
  • subscribers
  • active users
  1. Beside it's not evident you can tap at top to switch between all / local / subscribed

  2. On communities list you can't directly see subscribers and active users (month)
    It would be nice to have info about it. Same way you got it when going to a community and looking at it's header

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. Change sorting to allow to search for number of posts / comments / subscribers / active users
  2. Use tabs to switch between all / local / subscribed
  3. Display on a third line as ancillary text (same style as second line) number of subscribers and active users (month)

I see (and I'm sorry if the "Explore" section needs some attention).

  1. Sort is sent by the app and processed by the back-end, I've always suspected some values are plainly ignored but I'll have to investigate it a little more;
  2. That pattern should be familiar to users because it's the same used in the Home screen (you change the listing type by tapping on the top bar) which has the advantage of not having to do 3 searches at the same time (or 2 if you are in guest mode on another instance or not logged), so I would keep this suggestion on hold;
  3. perfectly valid and indeed that UI component supports the number of people (you should see it in the "Manage subscription" screen you can access from your profile)... I should just see whether the API result includes it.

BTW I just tried to open the "Manage subscriptions" screen from the Profile and it does not load, maybe some of the latest Lemmy server updates broke something, I'll investigate it and create a sub-task for it.
