Detailed description of the problem

I installed today and everything was working just fine with making Albums and uploading photos. However, at some point with all the uploads, all the album thumbnails and gallery thumbnails got very blurry and stay that way. Clicking on a photo doesn't show anything.

Note it doesn't matter if I access the website locally via the IP: 192.168.4.103/lychee or through the full domain name; both show the same. Tried on multiple computers and browsers so it isn't a browser caching issue.

System:
Installed Lychee 6.2 on Ubuntu 24.04, Apache, MySQL database, PHP 8.3.6. 4G RAM, 750 GB disk space. Server is local and I'm accessing via Cloudflare ZeroTrust tunnels.

There is for sure something going on with the .env.

Note that if you are setting APP_ENV to http://photo***********e.net you will not be able to access Lychee via ip (even less with folder) because of the CSP rules.

What would help you debugging this one is looking at the url called in the network tab of your chrome/firefox. That will tell you a lot. You can also try to set APP_URL= (so empty value).

I assumed you accessed Lychee from the 192 ip.

@ildyria You are correct in that I ran the diagnostics from the local 192.168.4.103 address which accounts for the warning messages. However, the main problem of blurry thumbnails and lack of the photos shows up with either the local address or the full (http://photo***********e.net address.

I took a look at the .env file and compared it with the example version. The only real modification that perhaps is incorrect was this line:

I changed it back to having APP_DIR remarked out and it made no difference. Seems like the APP_DIR=/lychee should be correct though.

Any other suggestions of where to look for errors?

So I don't know what is going wrong on your side, but on my side when I access your url (inferred from the images link above mentioned), everything loads: images etc.

It's weird one. I thought it was my Windows Chrome browser but I've had the same issue in Firefox on an Android tablet.
It was working fine on Chrome yesterday. I've not made any changes, but today getting blurring images. The tablet is working fine. Very odd.
Don't worry too much. I'll remove the mapping feature and see that helps.

I removed the map feature but the links to openstreetmap are still showing in the error log.

It was working fine in a Incognito browser earlier. Now I'm getting blurry images. This is crazy :-)
