Seriously I have several vessels that I don't want controllable without Kerbals in them. It does not make sense to have the sequencer be a probe core too.

You can add ModuleSequencer to any part using ModuleManager, it does not have to be the probe core.
For example scripts check out the .cfg file that comes with the mod.

You missed the point of my request. The IR Sequencer storage part is currently also a probe core. This should not be.

Ah, this part. This part is from Zodius's Model Rework, so it is not up to me to change it. If you really don't want it to be a probe core, just edit it's .cfg file and remove ModuleCommand
