[BUG] Not working on HyperOS 2.1

Describe the bug

Well changing the colors does not work. I checked logcat and the app errors out with "Shizuku service connection is null" when trying to change it.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the app
2. Try to change the color scheme
3. Doesn't change it

Expected behavior

It should change the color because shizuku is running and I can manually change the color scheme of material you directly via adb.

Most probably ColorBlendr failed to connect to shizuku. Try force closing and re-opening. Or clear data and open again.

I closed, reopened, restarted (the phone), cleared data, reinstalled, restarted shizuku... Nothing worked.

I don't know what information I could give you so maybe you could find out what's wrong but if you need anything just say.

Try any other shizuku apps and check if those are working. I need to make sure that shizuku is properly working on your system.

Installing and updating apps with shizuku definitely works, also as I have stated, changing the material you color scheme works perfectly fine via adb/shizuku

Do you see "Service connected" in logs? Or just send your whole logs file.

I don't know which logs you meant, cause there is none in the app itself as far as I've checked, so I'll just post the logcat I recorded while colorblendr was running.

For unknown reason, ColorBlendr is failing to connect to shizuku service.

Exactly same thing happening on my OnePlus (OxygenOS 13). The app used to work fine earlier when I tried few months back, but when I tried today it doesn't change color. Other Sizuku apps seem to work fine.

Edit 2: Nvm, I managed to fix it. I uninstalled Shizuku completely, and reinstalled an older version (13.5.0). Then I cleared app data of ColorBlendr and granted it Shizuku access. I am using v1.11.5 of ColorBlendr.

So it's an issue with recent shizuku update?

Edit: I can't test HyperOS. But on my AOSP ROM it's working fine with Shizuku v13.5.4+

I am not sure, but looks like it. Previously, I had the latest version (v13.6.0) of Shizuku. One of the apps I had (Extinguish) also had trouble starting its service (it reported "unstable running of shizuku or a bug") while another app (aShellYou) had no problem running whatsoever. Now both apps are working fine.

Update: Okay, so I updated Shizuku to v13.6.0. I tried starting the service but it got stuck on "Waiting for service". On my 3rd attempt, it started the service successfully, but then ColorBlendr didn't work (same issue as before). Therefore, I can confirm there is an issue with Shizuku v13.6.0, at least for me. I think something has changed/broken in latest version of Shizuku, which ColorBlendr is not able to handle.
Now downgrading back to v13.5.0 ...

Thanks, will look into it. Playstore version is v13.5.4 and it was working. I'll test with v13.6.0 when I get some free time.

Edit: Tested with v13.6.0 on AOSP ROM, no issue here.
