[Propose Update] "feature work" ambiguous

This proposal is based on the following point:

All feature work stops when the pipeline is red

Is your proposed change related to a problem? Please describe.
I disagree that all feature work must stop in these contexts. Particularly on a team where multiple people are working on features on the same product. I don't believe it is not be reasonable to suggest that all feature work must stop until the pipeline is green. It is, however, reasonable to suggest that the pipeline must be green to merge a feature.

I propose the following verbiage:

Feature work is not merged when the pipeline is red

Describe alternatives you've considered
I have considered that some teams may be of such a structure that would make stopping feature work for a red pipeline a necessity. Otherwise considered alternative verbiage stating the same as my proposed verbiage.
