Windows Bug: Command missing char when typing command starting with /

What issue are you seeing?

Command starting with / randly miss char when using Tab to complete command.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

kimi.exe

/exi

`Tab`

There are two case to miss char:

• Type command normally, first char would miss after you typed the second char.
• Randly missing after using Tab to accomplish.

I found it:

kimi-cli/src/kimi_cli/ui/shell/prompt.py

Lines 54 to 56 in a75a51b

	PROMPT_SYMBOL = "✨"
	PROMPT_SYMBOL_SHELL = "$"
	PROMPT_SYMBOL_THINKING = "💫"

Replace these three shell prompt with:

PROMPT_SYMBOL = ">"
PROMPT_SYMBOL_SHELL = "!"
PROMPT_SYMBOL_THINKING = "?"

Then, no more missing char case.

My guess is Windows use the fucking utf-16 encoding, which not fully match unicode standard, thus some emoji just simply occupy two unity width.

My suggestion using ascii char rather than unicode emoji on Windows (Maybe Python exist something like #cfg(target_os = xxx) in Rust)
