Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We are trying to add observational sea ice edge contours to plots.

Describe the solution you'd like
We need to figure out how to better plot on polar stereographic maps, which has created a problem so far.

Describe alternatives you've considered
N/A

Additional context
We've run a number of tests and are working on fixing these issues.
