Sandra - you should be able to update the plant database (ReEDS_generator_database_final_EIA-NEMS.csv) directly and see the prescribed builds show up from there. The database is used to create PV prescribed builds in writecapdat.py starting here. We recognize this is confusing, and have work going on right now to clean this up, so hopefully this will be much more straightforward later this summer when we have that cleanup-up version finished. |

Thanks Wesley. We're also running a scenario that looks into limiting the amount of wind the model can build in MISO-South. Are the wind_ons_exog_cap files similarly created, or could those be changed to add these build limits? Do you have a recommendation on where we can define year-by-year build limits for an RTO? |

This is helpful, thanks. If we use GSw_GrowthAbsCon to model a single RTO, is there a way to define a growth limit by year? |
Uh oh!

We are trying to reflect some future utility-planned UPV projects in the model, and I revised the upv_prescribed_builds_reference_ba.csv, upv_prescribed_builds_open_ba.csv and upv_prescribed_builds_limited_ba.csv files in the inputs/capacity_exogenous folder to reflect these projects by MW, BA and year. We're not seeing the UPV builds we wanted to prescribe when we run the model. Where do you define UPV prescribed builds? Thanks.
