Develop a "client core" library that abstracts connecting to the daemon. This module should:

Decide at runtime whether to connect locally (via a direct docket_ or remotely (via ssh connection using RPyC)
Provide an API for sending commands and receiving responses from the daemon

Details

A clean, well-documented API for connection, command invocation, and error handling
Examples demonstrating both local and SSH-based remote connections
