Description
Since version v14.0.0 (07/2021), RealismOverhaul introduced residual propellants, meaning some amount of propellant is left unused in the tank. The amount of propellant that will remain in the tank as residuals is mentioned in the PAW of each engine:
This is usually relatively insignificant, except for long burning engines, like the Juno engine in the screenshot above. This engine has a rated burn time of 450 seconds, and if you were to have full 450 seconds worth of propellant in the tank, it would only be able to burn for ~442 seconds, as the remaining 8 seconds of propellant would be left as residual (I noticed it because PEGAS was convinced that the stage should still burn for another ~7 seconds at burnout).
This is a little extreme example but, it would be nice to be able to specify the residuals % in the vehicle stage config (optional of course) and then PEGAS would transfer that percentage of fuel mass to dry mass instead.
I'm using PEGAS in my RP-1 career now so I may end up implementing this myself if it causes too many issues.
