When I started looking at this, I realised that we've got a dependency problem with mdv that @duncanbeevers spotted, but also that if I run it in verbose mode it doesn't give me the impression it's actually checking the file content. Markdownlint can check markdown, but I don't think our validation on the yaml/json/abnf parts is working.
