The intel-test/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch has been created. The expected model for this branch is as follows.
Consistent with the current development flow, all new functionality goes into the fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch of the linux-dfl repo first. Intel will cherry-pick and touch-test changes from the linux-dfl repo and then push them directly to the intel-test/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch after making any necessary changes in support of the backport driver.
This branch is intended to serve as a test branch for Intel and partners. After successful testing on this branch, changes will be mirrored to the intel/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch which is considered a release branch. Partners are invited to share their test results in this discussion forum to help determine when changes are ready to be moved to the intel/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch
Code changes that are specific to the backport driver (and do not pertain to the linux-dfl repo) may be submitted directly to the intel-test/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch as pull-requests . This branch is currently configured to require two reviews and approvals before pull-requests can be merged. Once merged and tested, these changes will be mirrored to the intel/fpga-ofs-dev-5.15-lts branch.
