In-Game resolution not being picked up properly

And another question :)
I see that in the OpenNOW app I can properly set my resolution to 3440x1440, my ultrawide monitor I use as primary in my laptop/monitor setup


but this does not carry over to in-game settings, where the resolution is capped at a much lower setting.

Funny enough: when using GeForce Infinte (or the browser) for GFN;, I even get only 1920x1200 which is the native resolution of my built in screen from me dell laptop.
So, OpenNow DOES add some improvement here, but is not going the whole distance.
(btw. using a performance plan for GFN, so ultrawide 1440p is supported there)

And as a side note: when chatting with GFN chat-support over the issue of not being able to raise resolution above 1920x1200 in my setup the chatbot said this is due to not using the native app (which is not present for Fedora, just Ubuntu) where it is supposedly possible to pass through and utilise the proper resolution.
