Image Data Format

Description of the issue

In OEO, there exist two data formats: Text and Binary. We want to add the Image Data format and then specify some instances.

The Text Data format includes several instances, such as: CSV, JSON, Excel, CPACS, KML, and BADA.
The Binary Data format includes NETCDF, SO6, and VTK (which can also be a text data format).
The Image Data format includes GeoTiffs (which can also be a binary data format).

Abbreviations:
BADA: Base of Aircraft Data
VTK: Standard for Scientific data visualization, which can be either ASCII or Binary
CPACS: Common Parametric Aircraft Configuration Schema
NETCDF: Network Common Data Format
KML: Keyhole Markup Language
SO6: a binary data format that contains air traffic data

We have CSV in the OEO but it is a class, I think it should be an instance as you mention.

Edit: maybe not, since there is no csv standard a class may be correct

decision from oeo-dev 120:

• add formats as individuals for data format, but leave classification about files/formats etc out

We are developing a datacatlog where for each dataset we need to know its format. So I think just adding the formats as individuals for dataformat will not achieve this need.

By defining:

Text file format: Here we add the follwoing formats as instances without specifying if it is delimiter seperated file or a source code file format, just directly under this class. CSV, JSON, Excel, CPACS, KML, and BADA, VTK

BinaryFileFormat: NETCDF, SO6, VTK, GeoTiffs

I think this is more logic and more semantically aligned.

Ok. Could you add one sentence of description for each of the formats, so that it can be added as kind of definition?
We don't have definitions for all individuals and I think, it is not necessary to have a perfect Aristotelian one here, but at least an explanation would be good.

We have 'xlsx' already in OEO (individual of data format). So do we still need Excel?

@AhlemRhayem you proposed VTK for both text and binary file format. Which one is correct?
