Problem finding/opening a 32 button module (aka Streamdeck XL)

Hi there,

having a 15btn StreamDeck (the real deal, not a module) running for 3+ years (on a raspberry pi) I thought I get some more to do even more awesome stuff. So I got some Stream Deck Modules (the stream deck without the logo, kickstand, case) during black week and hoped that they would work like the one I already successfully use.

So I got my old code and refactored some stuff just to find out, that StreamDeckSharp can not find he device. StreamDeck.EnumerateDevices() gives me an empty collection.

OS: Linux Mint Cinnamon
SDS: 6.1.0
Back of the module: SD032-00-0_V3.0_REV_A

If I manually fetch the device with DeviceList.Local.GetAllDevices it gives me the following information:

Not quite sure what to do now as I hoped it would just work the same (easy) way as the one I already use.

Interesting. Looks like a new Stream Deck XL Hardware Revision.

I haven't worked on the code for a while but it looks like the two current supported revisions do not really differ in StreamDeckSharp besides having a different USB Product ID

So for you personally the quickest solution would probably to fork/checkout the project and just change the Product ID of either "revison 1" or "revision 2". You can find the relevant code here:

public const int StreamDeckXLRev2 = 186; should do the trick, IF the new "revision" uses the same protocol.

If it doesn't work/use the same protocol it will be a bit more work. I would require using the official Elgato StreamDeck software and a USB (software) sniffer to record and reverse engineer the traffic, but I guess it's unlikely they changed the protocol.

As a library it's probably best to rewrite some things to decouple the Product ID (and maybe Vendor ID) from the actual device IO to support setting multiple Product IDs for a given device driver, but I don't want to make any promises or estimates.

Thanks for the quick answer. It DOES WORK

Just tested it with a copy of the code and adding a Rev3 with 0x00ba does the trick.
Still need to setup up GitHub on my new machine to make a real fork and create a PR.
