Opentrons Protocol Library Roadmap

We're collaborating with the Opentrons community to design a common platform that encourages discovery, creation, contribution, and sharing of automated scientific workflows built on the Opentrons system!

The Opentrons Protocol Library allows you to access a searchable repository of biological workflows automated on Opentrons by some of the brightest minds in the world! It can also help you to see what you can do with the platform, help you connect with other scientists who are doing similar work, and provide templates for how to implement protocols using our open-source Python API.

Ultimately we also hope to provide links to data, publications, blogs, and more associated with these protocols. The goal is to ensure that Opentrons users are able to contribute their workflows and leverage each others' unique experiences and expertise to accelerate advances in biotechnology.

What do we need to do?

This issue is our roadmap. It's a place to start to investigate the myriad of issues that you can contribute to. Feel free to explore the Protocols repo on Github, take a peek at our milestones (TBD!), and feel free to explore the issues by label too.

We're working on cleaning up our repo and adding some concrete milestones, so bear with us!!

Please check out our current contribution guidelines (NEED TO CREATE) and code of conduct (NEED TO CREATE) to help you get started. Also, make sure to peek at our README for an overview if you haven't read it yet!
