Oxalis NG PostgreSQL Persistence

I currently have Oxalis-NG running as a container in a Docker compose configuration alongside PostgreSQL. It currently runs purely locally with self-signed certificates. I am currently trying to have incoming invoices sent by oxalis-standalone binary persisted to Postgres. I currently have this configuration after much digging through scattered info of the configuration:

My current oxalis.conf

    path {
        inbound = "/oxalis-ng/inbound"
        outbound = "/oxalis-ng/outbound"
        plugin = "/oxalis-ng/plugin"
        persister.receipt = "plugin"
    }

    database {
        datasource = dbcp
        driver {
            class = org.postgresql.Driver
            path = "/oxalis-ng/ext/postgresql-jdbc-42.7.5.jar"
        }
        jdbc {
            connection = "jdbc:postgresql://postgres:5432/oxalis_db"
            username = oxalis
            password = oxalis
        }
    }
}

Though I have yet to see invoices persisted to the database. Anyone can help?
