it works with the native adapter but when I change the adapter to Exiftool adapter it throw this error:
Given path () to the exiftool binary is invalid

no, not just yet.
I couldn't get the serial number with the native adapter, so I tried the Exiftool adapter but it threw this issue.

You might want to give the fork https://github.com/LycheeOrg/php-exif a try
