Yes, if unable to connect Sanity with Beehiiv via API will need to figure out something else. This is the Pipedream API for contentful/ beehiiv:

2. Beehiiv email (generated on Beehiiv platform) newsletter gets auto published back on Sanity app. Morning Brew newsletter has a setup like this with Sanity.
