Device Information
Device: Poco X3 Pro (vayu/bhima)
ROM Name: Project Infinity-X
ROM Version: v3.7
Android Version: 16
Description
The audioserver and mediaserver processes frequently hang or become unresponsive during daily use. This occurs multiple times a day, resulting in a total loss of audio output and media playback. Currently, the only temporary fix is manually killing the processes via root (su -c "killall audioserver mediaserver"), after which the services restart and function normally for a short period.
Steps to Reproduce
Use the device for standard media playback (YouTube, Spotify, or System Sounds).
[Mention if a specific trigger exists, e.g., "Switching from Bluetooth to Speaker" or "After a long period of standby"].
Audio output stops entirely; videos may fail to load or throw an "error playing video" message.
Expected Behavior
Audio and media services should remain stable and persist without requiring manual process termination.
Actual Behavior
Services hang/deadlock, requiring a manual kill command to restore functionality.
