pip install pyav from pyav-14.2.0rc1.tar.gz: no pkg-config on Macos ?

Has anyone tried pip install pyav on Macos lately ? I get

I gather that pkg-config is on linux but not Macos ?

Versions: Python 3.12.8 pip 25.0.1
