Feature Request: Improve Loading Screen Experience During Report Processing #49

Hello @Rajput-xv , I had the chance to explore your project and found it very impressive. I’d love to contribute by suggesting and working on the following feature enhancement.

Current Behavior:
The loading screen shows a static spinner and step list (Reading, Extracting, Analyzing, Generating). It works but feels plain and may not engage users enough while they wait.

Proposed Enhancements:

  • Animated Progress Visualization
  • Add a progress bar or circular stepper that fills as each stage completes. Example: 25% → 50% → 75% → 100% transitions.
  • Interactive Step Animations
  • Animate icons beside each step.
  • Scanning (paper flicker)
  • Analyzing (zoom effect)
  • Generating insights (bar chart animation)
  • Friendly Health Tips / Facts
  • Display rotating quick health tips while loading. Example: “Staying hydrated improves kidney function.”
  • Estimated Time Indicator. Small reassurance note like: “This usually takes ~10 seconds”.
  • Improved Microcopy

Use more friendly phrasing:
“ Reading your document…” → “ Scanning your report carefully…”
“ Analyzing parameters…” → “ Making sense of your health markers…”

Why This Matters:

  • Engages users and reduces perceived waiting time.
  • Makes the product feel more polished and trustworthy.
  • Enhances overall user experience during a critical process.

Possible Implementation Ideas:

  • Use CSS/JS animations for smooth transitions.
  • Fetch health tips from a small JSON list for rotation.
  • Consider a progress bar synced with backend processing stages.

Impact:

  • Better user engagement.
  • Reduced frustration during waiting.
  • More professional UX.
