Max-energy option

In #44 (ancient issue) there was some discussion of the use of an old option called max-energy to make it possible to avoid pdep calculations failing due to poorly formulated networks proposed by RMG. It seems to have been an option in Measure which was essential the old version of Cantherm. Should we add such an option to RMG? If so how should we define the max-energy (absolute, relative to core energies, network energies etc.)?

Perhaps this max-energy metric should scale with grain size?
We could do something with the combination of some_constant times maximumGrainSize times minimumNumberOfGrains.
Alternatively, we could implement a maximumNumberOfGrains option with some large default. If it crashes, we could reccomend the user to change this, or try to resurrect it automatically.
