Issue description:
Texture preview on cube is always misaligned regardless of UV scaling settings.

Steps to reproduce:
Apply checkerboard texture (2,2) to output and the texture is projected onto the cube in a strange / uneven / stretched sort of way. Have tried with the ratio locked and unlocked, results are always misaligned unless scaling is set to 1 and with that you only get a tiny (~1/4) of the texture applied to each face.

Image was taken with the UV scaling uniformly set to 2, mapping a basic 2,2 checkerboard no other nodes.
