We recently haven't updated this crate much, which is meaning this is stable now. And it's tightly coupled with the malachite project.
For efficient maintenance, we can donate this project to malachite org and become a downstream of this project for RustPython project.

@qingshi163 How do you think about this? You are practically the sole author of the project. This is a neutral suggestion. I'd like to follow your opinion about the future of this project.

I just sent crate owner invitation to you. I also will create a patch to merge this into malachite project in a few days.

Thank you for giving me ownership of this project! I've merged the PR and soon I'll release Malachite 0.5.1, which will include malachite-bigint.

I know that RustPython uses malachite-bigint. Are there any other users I should be aware of?

malachite 0.5.0 is also not released yet. Probably the next version could be 0.5.0.

I have no idea about other users. reverse dependencies shows only direct or indirect rustpython dependency.
