Hmm, there is 2.9.1? Ugh. Well, it depends on how the app is secured, I guess. If it is UWP only... not sure. Back up your installers, just in case. |

Hmm...they had a Windows store app back in the day, but they dropped it years ago and continued with Kindle for PC only. Wonder if "Legacy" Kindle for PC will be restricted to books published before a certain date like the older versions or cut off or?? |

In case everyone hasn't seen this yet, the Kindle for PC 2.9.1 (71006) is now showing the announcement:
"A new and improved Kindle app for Windows 11 will be available in the Microsoft Store later this month.
This app will no longer be available after June 30, 2026."
I hope that DRM will still be possible with the "new" app from the Microsoft Store.
