Installation succeeds, but app is not usable, see also #5714 (comment).

Describe the solution you'd like

In the concrete case mentioned above, a solution would be a basic verification step that would ensure that the app archive could be extracted correctly / as expected. E.g. checking a manifest file for expected files after installation and checking that all files are non-empty.

The hypothesis for the concrete case is that an OS security setting prevents unsigned binary files from being extracted. edit: This is confirmed, cause is similar to clowd/Clowd.Squirrel#28 (comment)
