F-Droid is a repository of FOSS android apps.I call it the Play Store for FOSS apps.

Many people search here when they are looking for an app to install.
Adding Condution to the F-Droid repo will make it visible to this audience.

@inson1 Thanks for checking back in! I went ahead and sent in an application [https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/-/issues/2574], so things are in the works.
