Load Project Screen

Loading Projects

The primary goal of the PowerShell Compact-Archive Tool is to compile any ZDoom based mod projects. In order to accomplish this goal, you will need to instruct PSCAT where the project's source files exists that will be compressed into a PK3 file, this can be done by using the Load Project feature through the Main Menu screen.

Access the Load Project

Selecting Projects

When accessing the Load Project screen, you will be prompted to select a project folder by using Windows' Folder Browser. When selecting the project, you will want to make sure that the root of the project's source files are selected. Failure to select the proper location, the game engine may not be able to use the project's assets correctly. Please refer to the 'Using ZIPs as WAD replacement'. Further, while only one project can be selected at a time, you can freely choose to load another project at anytime.

Project Compatibility

The PowerShell Compact-Archive Tool can be able to compile any project into a compressed PK3 file. To allow this ability within the PowerShell Compact-Archive Tool, there is no compatibility needs required for a project.
