Embed gnuplot in eepp applications

Sorry but I've never used gnuplot and have no experience with it. As far I can see developing a frontend for gnuplot isn't trivial at all (see the qt frontend), that would be quite a large project. So for the moment I cannot help with this. The easiest way would be to just output to a PNG and load it.

I'm not asking you to implement a new eepp terminal for gnuplot. I'm thinking about sending gnuplot commands from the eepp application to gnuplot and get back the result to display in the eepp window. It's kind of client - server to me.

You want to use the eepp GUI or just display a texture?

You can imagine it as a very simple plotting application. A single window application, with some controls such as text boxes and buttons, and an area to display the graph. The user can specify the function to plot and the range to plot.

This is easy. Tell GNU Plot to output in an image format and your program will deal with the image instead.

Install Gnuplot 5.2.6+ (Required at runtime)

It will call the GNU Plot standalone program at runtime. I don't think it embeds GNU Plot at all.
