When I sync lyrics, I usually re-add the line breaks of the original verses to retain the verse structure after I've synced all lines in SubtitleEdit. When I do this in source view and then save the .lrc file, these changes are not reflected in the file.
Workaround:
My current workaround is to copy the contents from the source view and paste them into a text editor to save the file.
Solution:
I think it would make sense for SubtitleEdit to save the contents of source view as they are (when saving while in source view).
Reproduction:
I made a gif to show what I mean. The newly introduced line breaks are removed and the tags that I removed (wrong title tag that is set to the filename which includes the tracknumber and info about subtitleedit version) are back.
