Display with No HUD Seed issues

Maybe I'm mis-understanding something, but in order to get the mod to display any info, I have to set that option to on. Am I missing something? Are all of my runs flagged as no hud seed somehow? I feel like I should only need this option to be on if I want to see a hud in a seeded run that specifies no hud. Is this only meant to be used during seeded runs?

Normally, you dont need to change any config options in order for MinimapAPI to display the map.
This issue you are describing sounds like you have installed another mod, that somehow enables the "No Hud" Seed-effect everytime.

To verify this, please disable all other mods except minimap api and see if you still have to change the setting. if not, then its caused by another mod. you can then reenable your mods bit by bit, and pin down which mod is causing this to happen.

Just MCM and MinimapAPI used during testing just now and I can see it... time to see what mod is doing it. thank you for the info

now that's weird, I turned them all back on one by one (trying to find the culprit) and I still don't need that option on.
