The difference is, that also the inner wall lines gets printed in a greater layer height. So you can have a very fine 0.1 Hull optic while the major part is printed with eg. 0.2 which meens you get better optic, while print finishes faster.
Most of the times you have more wall lines which are seperated in inner and outer wall. eg. 4 wall lines for more stability.
with this 3 wall lines are "inner" and therefor printed with greater layerheigt then the outer wall.
Infill is not inner walls!
Or short. it enhances optic/ästhetics of the print while not sacrificing print time that much.
