Important: Transitioning Beyond Comet

Dear Comet Users and Contributors,

After much consideration, I’ve decided to phase out Comet in its current form to make way for a new, more professional media conversion tool. While Comet has been an incredible journey—growing from a simple idea into a fully functional cross-platform app—I believe it’s time to take things to the next level.

Why the Change?

Comet has served its purpose well, but there are areas where I see room for major improvements, including:

• Better performance and stability with a more refined architecture.
• A more polished UI/UX to enhance the user experience.
• Expanded features beyond basic media conversion.
• Improved cross-platform support with proper code-signing and streamlined distribution.

What’s Next?

I’ll be working on a new project that builds upon Comet’s foundation but takes it to a whole new level. More details will be shared soon!

What About Comet?

For now, Comet will remain available, but active development will slow down as I shift focus to the new project. If you’re interested in contributing or maintaining it, feel free to fork the repository.
