I ran the examples in the VulnXML folder against the STIX validator and there were a few issues in each making them not valid STIX.

The IPv4 and File Hash samples had an incorrect CVE format.

The CVE and MS vulnerability samples had Exploit_Targets in the incorrect XML location.
