We are happy to announce a new patch release of Yoda 2.0: version 2.0.4.

Changes and fixes introduced in this new version include:

Generic changes:

• Automatic Resource Balancing (ARB):
  • Handle storage resources with non-existent vault paths gracefully (YDA-6755)
  • Fix server certificate validation problem in ARB update script (YDA-6756)
  • Fix issue where ARB update script fails on consumers due to server configuration structure changes (YDA-6803)
• Data archiving: ensure only good replicas of data objects are used when creating archives (YDA-6772)
• Data request module: fix issue that resulted in missing notification emails for rejected data packages (YDA-6624)
• Metadata: improve metadata schema validation messages by making them more specific and adding fallbacks for non-standard messages (YDA-6781)
• MOAI: Add workaround for pyoai dependency issues that could cause MOAI to fail unexpectedly (YDA-6847)
• Publication:
  • Fix issue where publishing or updating open data packages with a custom license failed on updating metadata in DataCite (YDA-6616)
  • Add ability to check and update metadata schema of single data package (YDA-6780)
  • Add ability to run transform publications tool on a single collection (YDA-6776)
  • Publication troubleshooting tool: add baseDOIMinted as expected AVU for first version of publication (YDA-6777)
• SRAM: Fix for synchronization with empty COs (YDA-6784)
• Statistics:
  • Pregenerate export data for the statistics module in order to prevent timeout issues (YDA-6205
  • Usability tweaks for statistics module, e.g. display a spinner when preparing to download statistics export data (YDA-6851)
  • Various other performance improvements for the statistics module (YDA-6205)
• Tooling: Add role for installing Yoda client tools (YDA-6850)

Software component updates:

• Anubis web firewall: update to v1.25.0
• GoCommands: update to v0.11.5
• iCAT database checker: upgrade to v1.1.0

UU-specific changes:

• Reporting role: Use new reporting script from yoda-clienttools for storage reports (YDA-6849)
• Zabbix scripts:
  • Fix faulty unit in Zabbix template
  • Add debug parameter to the vault check script
