Are you using any gamescope patches or a forked version of gamescope?
The issue occurs on upstream gamescope without any modifications
Current Behavior
I can't really confirm if the second check box is true, because although it says gamescope in the package manager, it's from a nobara repo so it doesn't tell me much (but it also doesn't say it's patched or anything, but I'm not sure) but I CAN say that I've read about this issue from steam deck users on reddit and github repos for certain emulators (apparently this is also an issue with Yuzu) and the solution was something about the scaling mode needing to be set to auto, but it was already on auto for me. this is on a desktop running nobara linux and it happens both in the gamescope session and running the game through gamescope on the desktop.
Steps To Reproduce
You launch it using gamescope as a launch option or in the gamescope session. either through rpcs3 itself or launching the game directly with no rpcs3 gui.
Hardware information
- Distro: Nobara Linux (possibly the htpc version, yeah probably that one.)

- Driver Version: you mean like mesa? I don't know which driver you want here.
Software information
- Desktop environment: kde plasma
- Session type: desktop and gamescope session based on the ChimeraOS fork
- Gamescope version: 0:3.16.1-4.git.20250228.4da5e4a.fc41

[what is that? ] SDL
[what is that? ] OpenVR
Logging, screenshots, or anything else
no, but it's like it shrunk an inch. like it's 720p or something.
