Project history

Artifacts from how this system was actually built, preserved deliberately.

  • original-build-prompt.md: the specification prompt that seeded the schema-adaptive rewrite. This project was built AI-accelerated with human-owned architecture; this is what the humans wrote to direct it.
  • v4-architecture-notes.md: architecture notes from the system's hackathon-era generation, kept as a snapshot of the design thinking before the product repositioning.

Test Data Workbench is the third generation of a test-data tooling lineage. The first two generations were fixed-schema systems (a hardcoded e-commerce domain, then the same with LLM-assisted data synthesis). This generation inverted the design: instead of shipping a schema, it adapts to yours.
