The Powerups get consumed when collected, even when you already have that Powerup affecting you, which is a waste. You need to make it so the Super Mushroom gets put in the Inventory at full health, and the Fire Flower and Ice Flower do the same when you have their Power, as well as them getting put in your Inventory when you when you have their Power and switch to a different Powerup.
