Could it be possible to get pyosys (or some variant of it) be bundled with ghdl and slang plugins

Feature Description

I started to use pyosys, which seems a great way to automate netlist manipulation.

Some SV freatures, and VHDL as a language, are not supported by plain yosys.

Is there a way to pip install pyosys in a way that these two packages were availabe?

If not, could they be added to [p]yosys release?

I'm afraid you'll need to build Yosys yourself.

From the position of yosys maintainers, I think we shouldn't take on more diverse distributions of binaries than the OSS CAD suite as-is (pyosys is somewhat niche), to focus on the software itself. For your convenience, consider this external Docker toolkit project https://github.com/iic-jku/IIC-OSIC-TOOLS which among other things seems to build with pyosys support due to librelane requiring it. I think it is valid to request OSS CAD suite to bulid with pyosys support so I'll keep this issue open, it's just low priority from our side
