Add support for GL.iNet GL-BE3600 (Slate 7) as OMR client router #4208

Description

@federicocorradi

Is this request related to a missing driver support for a particular hardware platform, SoC or board? Please describe.
Yes — I’m requesting device/board support for the GL.iNet Slate 7 (GL-BE3600).

This is a Wi-Fi 7 travel router on a Qualcomm platform (exact SoC model TBC). It runs GL.iNet’s OpenWrt-based firmware, but it’s not available in the current OpenMPTCProuter supported device images. I’m hoping to get it added as a supported target so it can be used as an OMR client router.

Describe why you are asking for this support?
I already own the Slate 7 and want to use it as my travel router for multi-WAN + bonding back to my home endpoint.

My intended setup:
• Client: GL.iNet Slate 7 (GL-BE3600) on the road
• WANs: [hotel Wi-Fi as WAN] + [phone tether/USB modem] (and potentially others)
• Server endpoint: Linux VM running the OMR server stack on a Mac mini at home (static public IP)

Additional context
Device: GL.iNet Slate 7 (GL-BE3600)
• SoC: Qualcomm (model TBC — I can provide full output)
• Stock firmware details: OpenWrt-based (I can provide kernel + board info)
• Use case: travel router / OMR client

I’m happy to help with testing and data collection. I can provide:
• ubus call system board
• /proc/cpuinfo
• dmesg
• ip a / iw dev
• partition / flash layout
• photos of device label / FCC ID if useful

If you can point me at the closest existing target (or what’s missing: DTS, Wi-Fi driver situation, switch config, etc.), I can test builds and report back with logs.
