First of all, a massive thank you for your fantastic MBusino project! It's a brilliant piece of hardware and software, and it served as the absolute perfect foundation for my own setup.
I am reaching out to politely let you know about a major fork I've been working on over the last few weeks: MBusino 5S - v2.0.0.

Because I needed some highly specific features for my home automation—like having each sensor populated as a separate device over MQTT and needing a standalone communication via ESP-NOW—I ended up giving the code a massive overhaul. To be completely honest, my web design skills are quite limited, so I curated and built this with the heavy assistance of AI which i also used for code curating and refining of functions/methods.
I began with small changes trying to keep as much original code as possible, after a few Days i implemented more and more fratures, stumbled over this and that, the code growed,....
Key Changes and Features:
A completely rebuilt, responsive Web-UI.
Migration from EEPROM to LittleFS (including the option to up-/download settings and meter profiles).
ESP-NOW integration for standalone communication.
AP-only mode fallback and Smart Calibration.
An automated CI/CD Pipeline via GitHub Actions.
I absolutely do not want to step on your toes or compete with your original project! I have explicitly stated in my release notes that all credits go to you. My code runs perfectly on your hardware, but due to personal reasons, I am not capable of providing extended support for my fork.
I simply wanted to share my work with you. I would be incredibly honored if you'd like to take a look at it. If you like the new GUI concepts or any of the new methods, please feel absolutely free to port them back into your main project!
