❓ Can we expand the provenance beyond a single node?

First of all: I really like the new provenance explorer, great work so far!

My main question is: would it be at all possible to expand what we see in the explorer beyond a single node and its linked nodes? I see two use cases here:

1. When exploring, I kind of want to see where "I came from". Else I get lost, if that makes sense?
2. Maybe I want to see all workflows/calculations in a workflow. Then select one calculation and see the corresponding in/outputs.

I understand it's a big change, and maybe you have to load too much data to make this work? But going beyond the single-node view would be quite powerful, I think?

I agree this would be a useful feature and we have discussed briefly how this should look.

Currently the rendering is fairly primitive and generates incoming/selected/outgoing in a left-to-right fashion.

I think it could be easily extended to support unfold nodes to render children of a child, maybe autocollapsing when the user unfolds a different child to avoid confusion,
For now this is a fairly low priority and requires quite a bit of discussion.
