Commenting to follow. I'm one step further. I'm showing API calls for this feature, but I'm still not able to request advanced access.

Hi there,
I hope you’re doing well.
I’m reaching out because I’m currently working on an internal analytics and dashboarding solution for my clients, and during this process I ran into some practical limitations with the Meta Ads API that I believe your team at Fivetran has already navigated successfully.
Today, part of my pipeline still relies on third-party connectors, which work well but become expensive as volume grows. Because of that, I started working directly with the Meta Marketing API to have more control over data freshness and costs.
The main challenge I’m facing is related to rate limits and update frequency. To unlock faster data refresh, Meta requires Ads Management Standard Access, which can only be requested after an app completes 1,500 successful API calls within a 15-day window, with an error rate below 10%.
What’s confusing is that:
ads_managementandads_readIn practice, this makes near–real-time updates difficult, even with stable usage and sufficient call volume.
Given how robust Airbyte Meta Ads connector is, I was curious about how you approached this challenge:
I’m not looking for proprietary details, just hoping to learn from teams that have already solved this problem at scale.
If someone from your engineering or data platform team is open to a short technical conversation, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for your time, and congrats on the impressive work you’re doing at Fivetran.
Best regards,

Tobias Trafego
