Hi ...
"akamai dns create-recordset" performs two steps - which you have to do in the GUI - in one:

  • create the new entry
  • review and go-live of the change (you can put a comment here)

We use the comment field in step 2 (review and go-live) to set e.g. ticket numbers or other comments in order to be able to assign changes in the zone history.

When I use the cli-dns it is not possible to put a comment - that's a pity.
If the oldest change has a comment, this comment is set for the new entry - but this is wrong.
