Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The issue is that Allure version 3 does not capture the Cucumber BDD steps and sub-steps as it did in version 2. This regression is problematic because it reduces the clarity and granularity of the reports, which are essential for debugging and understanding test flows. This impacts the readability and effectiveness of our testing results.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like Allure version 3 to include the same or improved support for capturing Cucumber BDD steps and sub-steps, just as in version 2. Ideally, the steps and sub-steps should be displayed in a hierarchical manner, making it easy to understand the execution flow of scenarios.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Downgrading to Allure version 2 to regain the lost functionality.
  • Manually adding logs for steps and sub-steps, which is time-consuming and error-prone.
  • Exploring other reporting tools, although this would require a significant shift in our current setup.
