how can you stop/exit/close the app programmatically?

How can you programmatically (!) gracefully exit/close/quit the app? Tried process.exit() in main.js but does not work

I understand now that process.exit() would only exit back. So I would probably have to send message to front to close view. But then: How can you close the front (the webview)? app.loadURL("about:blank") as suggested in https://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/WebView.html#clearView() doesn't work

Oh thanks for pointing this out, we don't have such functionality in Android JS now,
we will update and get it done in next release ; )
