Use an address range larger than /24 for vpn client network

We are using wireguard for all kinds of IoT devices as clients and have automated device adding etc. We now have a conundrum, we would like to continue using this script but we need to expand the client ip range so we can add more devices.

How should we do this? Also, we are thinking about setting up another instance, what lines would we edit to change the vpn network from /24 to say a /16 which would give plenty of addresses?
